The Tate’s had a beautiful celebration this past September!
Christine & Holden created such a detailed, nostalgic centered wedding by video taping their entire wedding journey with playing the end results at the wedding!
I’m always beyond excited whenever my friend, Jinny Singleton with JinnyK Photo, asks for wedding day assistance, because not only do I get to work with a friend, we get to be creative and bounce off of each other through out the day.
Their day began with the ladies getting ready in their suite with hair, make up, and stunning blue dresses to compliment Christine’s mermaid gown. We did a reveal to the girls, and present exchange with her parents before leading into their first look. Not right away though, because Holden’s best man wanted to give him a shock with HIM in a dress first before Christine!
Everyone got a good laugh and I think it helped break up the nerves for a first look.
They had an intimate moment on the dock that amped us up for portraits with the bridal group! The sun was starting to creep into it’s beauty blues during the ceremony and family portraits, and provided a sky of pink to end their daylight with.
From timeless bridal portraits to a sky painted in the prettiest shades of pink, every moment felt like a little piece of magic. As the sun disappeared, the dance floor came alive with their favorite people celebrating a love worth dancing all night for. And what better way to end the evening than riding off into their next chapter in a custom, hand-drawn getaway car, lovingly decorated by their crew. The sweetest ending to a day they’ll never forget, and the beginning of everything still to come.
